I was also obliged to remove the cistern cover and make repairs to the flush mechanism to be bale to flush the toilet. Similar problem in bathroom where the splash back behind the sink was rotting away at the bottom exposing hte blackened and rotting chip board it was made from. Check in was efficient but slight difficulties as many of reception staff do not appear to speak the NATIONAL language too well!! Checked in to room which I expected to be clean and comfortable but was able to see lumps of accumulated dust at the top of the curtains which does not enamour you in nay way. Would we consider staying here again – YES, mainly because of the excellent price.īooked a one night bed stop here before early morning departure from Heathrow so did not take breakfast option. However, we were so pleased with the price of the hotel that we didn’t care too much (and we left plenty of time for this). This was a good bus service, but took a full 45 minutes. We also used the hotel hopper bus in the morning to get from the IBIS back to terminal 5. However, not having visited the IBIS before, wasn't sure where to get off the bus (and didn’t want to end up completely lost), so opted for the hotel hopper H56 bus that cost £4.50 and took us straight to the hotel. We saw instructions on the IBIS website about a free bus service from Terminal 5 to the IBIS. We felt the menu had an excellent selection of evening meals, and was reasonably priced. We didn’t try the breakfast, but did use the restaurant for dinner. But we were only here for one night, and I would assume that is the case for most hotel guests at this hotel. If staying at the hotel for more than one night, the lack of space in the room may get tedious. The bathroom was small, but again very clean with shower gel and soap in dispensers. However, the room was very clean, had a decent flat screen tv, comfy beds and tea/coffee making facilities. The room was very small, with not much room to walk around (especially with suitcases in the room). Overall, the hotel ticked all the boxes for us. Up to two children under 15 can travel free with a paying adult.Stayed at the Heathrow IBIS for one night only, the night before an early flight from Terminal 5. Tickets cost £6 per person one way and £11 return. From terminal 5 they go from 05:11 every 30 minutes until 23:14. The first one from terminal 4 is 04:44, then every half an hour until 23:30. If you're going from terminal 4 or 5, you'll need the H56 bus. From terminal 3 the first bus is at 04:37 and then every 20-30 minutes until 23:29. The first bus from terminal 2 is at 04:42 and then every 20-30 minutes until 23:34. You can catch the Heathrow Hoppa bus from the hotel to the airport and back - it runs regularly during the airport's opening hours.įrom terminals 2 and 3, you'll need to get the bus H6. If you are using a sat nav, the postcode is TW6 2AL. The hotel is about half a mile down the road on the left. At the Jolly Waggoners roundabout turn right onto the A4 Bath Road, following signs for Heathrow terminals 2 and 3. Leave the M4 at junction 3 and follow the A312 towards Hounslow and Feltham. The hotel's car park is run by an outside company and you will need to pay £15 at a pay-and-display machine for overnight parking. Make sure you have a form of ID on you as you'll need to show it at check-in.
